Once a year in the village square, outside the Parish Council Offices, we welcome everyone in the village to come for an afternoon of fun and entertainment culminating in the switching on of our Christmas lights in the village. This includes both a Christmas Tree and some street lighting in the area.
We are finishing the final pieces of the puzzle to hold the Christmas Lights unveiling on Saturday, 25th November at 3 pm. Stalls will be set up from 2, with the School Choir as well as the Salvation Army Band. We then switch the lights on at 3.
See you there!

Bar Hill Community Association are urgently trying to raise funds to ensure we can have our traditional Christmas Tree with lights this year.
If you or a local business would be interested in donating to our Christmas Tree Fund We would really appreciate it. Those donating over £25 will be recognised in the December issue of the Bar Hill News. Businesses which donate over £100 can have a 1/4 page b/w advert included in the issue - for £200, and it can be in colour (and a full page).
Additionally, we will invite everyone who makes a donation to the "switch on" ceremony at 3 pm on Saturday the 25th of November. If you do feel able to fund the full £2,000 this years event will cost - then it would be our pleasure to invite you or one of your company representatives to officially “switch on the lights" on the day.
If you do feel able to contribute, then please contact me directly at barryd@barhill-ca.org, or on my mobile (0789 00 00 134), and I will arrange for the details of how your donation can be made.
Here are a few galleries from the previous years events to prepare you for this years!
