An excellent flat work - we leave the village across the A14 Bridge, travel down the local road to the Lolworth bridge, then into the centre of Lolworth to visit the church and then back into Bar Hill across the farmers' field.
The total walk length is around 90 minutes.
We start in the car park of the hotel, cross the bridge over the A14 and then walk along the tarmacked local road to the Lolworth bridge and then back over and into Lolworth village. This part of the walk is a single-lane road with no footpaths (but is rarely busy). We then arrive at the village green, briefly onto the Church, and then back across the field ( a dirt pat, but a public right of way) to Bar Hill where we cross the main road and then walk, via the Parish Council Offices, and Tesco back to the hotel.
