Skatepark Designs

The original skatepark was removed more than a decade before, but people still have very fond memories of their time on the park and, consequently its design. Discussions on the design started in the first meeting, SP001. It was agreed in SP005 (12th July 2022) to adopt the below design as the "final design" to be used to engage with contractors.

NOTE: the purpose of the "Final Design" was that the Skatepark committee felt that it had taken the design, from a user perspective, as far as it was possible to go and that the design would now be shown to contractors (i.e. the companies that build skateparks) for their input into the design. It was understood by all present at SP005 that there would need to be a degree of iteration as their suggestions came in.

The designs below were put together based on hand drawings, and are presented in several stages.
